Multiplex PCR

This is a method of amplifying multiple target genes in the same reaction solution by a polymerase chain reaction to amplify several different DNA sequences at the same time. In this case, the interaction of the primers should be calculated to prevent the primers from forming dimers or interfering with each other, and the amplified products should be different in sizes to be distinguished on the Agarose Gel.

Real-time PCR

As an experimental method based on polymerase chain reaction, it is a method that can calculate the initial amount of DNA present in the sample by monitoring the product amplified during the PCR process in real time. Since it is a method that simultaneously amplifies DNA molecules and measures the amount, the detection sensitivity is high, so it is a very useful molecular biological technology for the analysis of gene mutations such as detection of trace pathogens, quantification of gene expression (mRNA expression), and analysis of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP). Real Time PCR detects the amount of PCR amplified products using fluorescence, and SYBR Green fluorescent materials and TaqMan Probe are typically used. SYBR Green fluorescence is a substance that shows fluorescence by binding to a DNA double helix. It has the advantage of being inexpensive, but it has the disadvantage of reacting to non-specific amplification products. To overcome this, the melting curve of the amplified DNA product is measured after the amplification to determine whether a non-specific amplification has occurred.

Virus Molecular Diagnostic Kit for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)

Virus Molecular Diagnostic Kit for SARS-CoV-2 is a one-step RT PCR kit that detects RdRp and E genes causing novel coronavirus infection. Two types of Primer Mix per sample makes it possible to classify and detect Beta CoV and SARS-CoV-2.

RdRp Mix especially detects SARS-COV-2, while E gene Mix detects both Beta CoV and SARS CoV-2.

This product contains enzymes and reaction components necessary for cDNA synthesis and PCR amplification, and proceeds mixture of RNA Template, Primer, Probe (Primermix) in one-step to reduce contamination and easily detect RT-PCR reaction. In addition, the use of Taqman Probe enables more accurate and faster analysis.
